Ever since teaching in school with a white but low socio-economic population (for those not in the know - poor white kids = lice is probably in your classroom 24/7), I have been pretty religiously boring about how I do my hair. Even though since that year I have taught in a mostly black school and now finally my upper middle class school of joyous teaching heaven, I still cannot bear to wear my hair any way but up. I keep it in this kind of half-in, half-out pony tail thing, which is not very trendy or chique but it makes me feel safe. While at the same time having that sort of accidentally sloppy on purpose glamorous sort of look.

Complicated. I know. THE POINT IS I went to pick up my children from PE the other day and all my girls had done their hair "just like Ms. T's." It was probably the most adorable thing ever.

I'd also like to nominate ExcalibUr for best paladin. Too often we see priests and paladins healing players in battlegrounds when they could be contributing their leet DPS. When I'm trying to defend the flag against three horde I can count on ExcalibUr's Seal of Command to help me take those hordies out and if all goes well there will be only two of them left up by the time I return from the graveyard.

I began posting these on the Hyjal forums out of pure frustration. Naturally most of the Alliance (and sad to say many Horde as well) are too dumb to recognize any kind of irony, sarcasm or wit. The tips are sound though and the thread will be lost in a matter of days under the onslaught of all the new retarded Hyjal threads.

Here's a little secret I picked up from Raider and Serene: You know your team is on its way to victory when your top KB dealers are members of a healing class (don't worry, you don't have to actually heal to be a member of a healing class!). Even better if your priests are in shadowform. PURE PVP PWNAGE!!!

More exclusive Alliance tactics gleaned just this morning from Arathi Basin!

After claiming a node whatever you do DO NOT DEFEND THE FLAG. Guarding one particular node to see that it gets capped is a waste of Alliance man power! Instead you should immediately spread yourselves out to the other various nodes in attempt to cap them as well. Besides it will be just moments until you're all grouped together again when you rez up at Trollbane Hall.

Yeah...so being the super nice teacher that I am, I'm giving my class a Valentine's Day party tomorrow. And not only did I get all their cupcakes and chips and junk in general but I also got these cute little conversation hearts baskets and filled them with candy. See how sweet I am. ^_^

The problem is this. When I bought them I didn't read the messages on all the baskets. In addition to messages like "U R Sweet" and "Sugar Sugar," I got this one:

I have 18 kids and the little baskets come in packages of six so I got exactly 18. Who am I going to give this to? If I were a parent I wouldn't want my son coming home with a basket that said "Lover Boy" on it from his teacher. I can only hope that someone is absent tomorrow. -_-

Our exciting evening began with an exciting event! I bet you don't know what's going on here.

That's right! It's a pinata! It's a "bull" but everyone kept calling it a donkey so they could make some super funny donkey jokes and man that was a blast.

My dad beat the crap, I mean candy out of it and managed to behead it. My parents are going to mount the pinata head on the family room wall because we don't have any deer heads mounted on our walls and in Tallahassee you really need to have dead animal heads with antlers on your walls or you're just not going to fit in. I realize that bulls don't have antlers but they do have horns and that pinanta was pretty horny.

By this time we were all pretty famished so we went out for Japanese.

Not included are the original Gameboy and Gameboy Pocket which I got rid of on my move from South Carolina to North Carolina. Each one of these are in perfect working order but naturally I had to have the next one. I got the GBA because of course I needed to play the new GBA games. I got the SP because it included the frontlight which should have been a feature of the original Gameboy. Also I got it because it's pink. ^_^. And of course the DS has Metroid and Animal Crossing coming out AND I HAVE TO HAVE THOSE TOO. Nintendo has raped me pretty good.
